GPR Systems for Underground Utility Detection

GPR systems enable operators to detect underground utilities, particularly non-conductive pipes and ducts, using high-frequency radar technology. When locating underground utilities, GPR can provide a valuable complement to electromagnetic cable and pipe locators.

Radiodetection’s LMX100™ and LMX200™ innovative GPR systems use ultra-wideband 250 MHz technology, specifically selected to provide effective underground utility locating.

Both GPR systems feature integrated GPS and high-resolution touchscreen displays. For connectivity and simplified reporting, both models also offer built-in Wi-Fi and a USB port.

LMX200™ Advanced Features

The LMX200™ provides additional capabilities that enhance field surveys and data interpretation. Users can create depth slices and review their survey path directly on the screen while working on site.

The proprietary DynaQ™ technology allows users to selectively enhance the display of targets based on their depth and size, including:

• Shallow and small targets
• Medium-depth and medium-sized targets
• Deep and large targets

These capabilities help operators improve target visualization and make more informed decisions when locating underground utilities.
