RD312 Metal Locator

The RD312 Metal Locator enables operators to quickly locate lost, buried, or hidden metal manhole covers and access points.

Lightweight and easy to use, the RD312 is ideal for locating metal covers, valve boxes, and other concealed access points in streets and paved areas. The gain can be adjusted manually or automatically, while the target position is indicated by a variable-pitch audio tone. The highest pitch indicates the maximum response directly over the target.

Built for durability, the RD312 features a robust high-impact ABS and aluminium construction and is weatherproof to IP54. Weighing just 1 kg, it is designed for comfortable handling and rapid locating operations.

The RD312 typically provides up to 30 hours of operation from a standard 9 V alkaline battery.
