Accurate positioning is critical for GPR surveys. It enables users to accurately map buried assets, determine the location of detected subsurface objects, identify areas to avoid during excavation, and record precise survey locations.

Powerful In-Field Features and Post-Processing Capabilities

Adding a GNSS solution to your GPR system enables advanced positioning, mapping, and data analysis capabilities, including:

• SplitView
  On LMX systems, the SplitView feature allows users to simultaneously follow utilities in map view and cross-section view. This makes it easy to plot utility routes and record accurate coordinates.
• Accurate GPR Positioning
  Precise positioning is particularly important when collecting “pseudo-grid” data. This involves surveying an area using a zigzag pattern, similar to mowing a lawn, to provide comprehensive coverage of the area of interest.
• Depth Slice Mapping
  GPR data can be processed into a series of depth slices below the surface. Depth-slice maps simplify GPR interpretation by quickly displaying the spatial relationships between detected objects and helping reveal linear features such as buried utilities.
